Arriving in Port

With only a slight shipping delay at port while waiting for Hurricane Dorian to move through Norfolk, VA, our FasRapid LGA 3000 II Beveling Machine arrived safely in Burlington, Kentucky September 12, 2019.

It took a day to lift it by crane off the truck, disassemble the oversized shipping crate, swing it around 180 degrees and skate it into place inside of our building. After adding the support legs and the exhaust filtration unit, the Gerima team established a remote access connection with their support team in Germany. This way we are first in line for any future software updates.

Exceeding Expectations

The FasRapid is already exceeding our expectations. We have been beveling long 9, 10, and 11 foot plates. It can also bevel multiple smaller pieces in one clamping. To test this feature and its ability to process any material grade, we beveled several batches of small armor plates simultaneously. This confirmed its high efficiency.

The FasRapid LGA 3000 II Beveling Machine can apply bevels of more than 4 inches width within a wide angle range from zero to eighty degrees. It can also face and square steel plates. The FasRapid is material agnostic, can process harder grades such as stainless steel, nickel alloys, and armor plate, and can handle long plates of up to 11 feet in one clamping. Longer pieces can be indexed through the machine in multiple clampings.
